I was absolutely appalled by a recent vlogger's revelation about instagram photo editing. It appears instagram has become to bloggers and online content creators, what magazines are to celebrities. Besides fretting over the perfect layout, online influencers are now turning their hand to photoshop and wizardous photo editing tools to create the perfect image of themselves. It appears that plastic surgery has fallen short of granting online influencers the extent of perfection they desire, and thus, some are resulting to extreme measures to depict the perfect image.

The eve to 'International Womens Day' was marred by a conflict between new age liberals and staunch feminists. Why? The lady that is infamous for coining the term 'breaking the internet' - Kim Kardashian. Earlier in the day, she saw it fit to post a nude photograph, censored merely by what looked like black duck tape over her privates. Pardon my crudeness, but that truly expresses how tasteless the image was. This prompted critics of the Kardashian Kulture to rise up in protest, and modern feminists to pipe up in her defence. Was it empowering or demeaning for such a public figure to parade her birthday suit for the world to see via social media?

"Can you cook?" As you asked, can you fix a broken down car on the motorway without Google searching what to do? Can you put together an IKEA cupboard without getting frustrated or requesting a cuppa or cold one 40 minutes in? OK...last one...can you shave without growling with discontent? No, I didn't think you could either, yet 21st century women are quizzed on their culinary abilities to gauge their societal validity...why exactly? I am still unsure.
