HOLA!! Freedom never tasted so sweet! Just took my last undergraduate exam on Friday so I've officially wrapped up my degree guys...just gotta wait for the graduation to make this ish official!

Soundtrack of the Minute - Buzzin' : Mann ft 50 Cent

• Was SO stressed calculating my GPA and estimating what i could get on each module....sheesh! Finals were probably the most amount of pressure I've had to deal with in a WHILE! SO thankful I can put that miserable experience behind me though...now on to future plans *eeek*

• Was SO lazy during exam time to be styling my hair, etc... so I experimented so much with my turbans and headscarves....I've come up with SO many new ways to don different types of headcandy & as some of you guys always query me about how to tie it, I think another multi-tie tutorial is in order so....WATCH OUT!

• After my final exam on Friday, I was feeling brave and shaved the side of my hair off. I'd been thinking of doing it for a while but...Anywho, the pic above is the new look! Will be uploading a video to give you guys a 360 view soon. I gotta say, I actually prefer my "Retro Rihanna Shave" BLEURGHair a LOT better than I did the "Toni Cut"...weird right? Got a LOT of compliments about it so I'm happy with the general result :)

• Bid on eBay and bought a black and white plain Panache Basque so looks like thats an item crossed off my "Summer Wishes" List :) It was brand new as the store was closing down. Wore it yesterday to one of my **8Ballz **Hansonex's 21st shindig in London....and got some rave reviews so pics on how to style that coming up soon

• Met my 1st real-life fan lastnight at the shindig and she was so lovely! I apologise for not asking your name to give you a shout-out on here, but hey hun! You can comment below and lemme know who you are if you want *flutters lashes*

• Got asked to partake in SO many fashion-journalist ventures over the exam period that I had to pass up, but thinking of taking up a few new things so watch this space. Also got a LOT of reviews about the styling for the eBLEURGHBay Vleurgh, so thinking of doing styling videos on YouTube. If there's anything for this season you'd like to see me style (in between my rants and BLEURGHS about things that have peev'd me recently) like jumpsuits or denims shorts or whatever, leave a comment and I'll get right on that :)

Summer Wishes...

Currently sitting my final papers so that should explain why I've been so M.I.A. Thanks for all the support on the 1st Round of the BLEURGH Store. More things coming soon, so keep one eye open. Figured I'd get a post out there cos I really missed blogging. I'm SO stressed right now so kinda using this as a de-stresser before getting back to the hard-knock-life *sigh*

Here's a list of things I've been lusting after  but I am still yet to get.....

1. Gold Michael Kors Watch - I've been wanting this for a while now...but I think I wear more gold than silver and it makes perfect sense for summer (BIRTHDAY GIFT)

2. Sleeveless Denim Jacket - Am I the only one infatuated with Tinie Tempah's style? (Claim to Fame - I met his mum and BEGGED it to the max last summer as she was at my flatmate's bbq. Asked her if she wanted a drink in Igbo & willingly took part in Ekeitte runs to further my chances of becoming his future wife). This jacket is an ode to his style and his cats roaming the streets....I love this look with khaki or tan shorts and a white tank

3. Ray Ban Wayfarers - I want Ray Bans!!! The shape of the wayfarers are THE most flattering on the face & I feel like everyone needs a classic pair in their collection (BOUGHT!!)

4. Black & Leopard Loafers - I missed the chance to bag these bubbas in New Look, cos I was fasting from shopping over Lent, so now I'm on the prowl for a pair that come as close to those beauties as I can (BOUGHT!!)

5. Flat Top Hat - I REALLY love this accesory on short hair, and as that's what I'll be rocking this summer, it seems only right to add one of these boos to my headcandy collection. I've seen a few I like in TopShop, but on the look-out for a better bargain and unique piece

6. Ear Cuff - I have ALWAYS wanted another piercing for like...forever! But I'm a tad cautious cos I'm going into an academic profession and don't really want further things acting as barriers to job prospects...you know? So I'm ALL FOR ear-cuffs!! I love the spinal ones that curl all around the ear...and it looks GREAT on short hair....(see the trend guys?)

7. Basque - I am all for accentuating the womanly figure and 'underwear as outerwear' is back again this season with lace, chiffon and silk materials all the rage in stores. This piece was actually inspired by one of my BLEURGHsessions, I Heart Vintage....I'm on the look out for plainer pieces that can be worn both day and night time (BOUGHT!)

8. Denim Cut-off Shorts - I lost a bit of weight on my thighs (thank GOD cos those thunder thighs were causing earthquakes) and my waist so i really wanna embrace this trend this summer. Been on the prowl but most are either too tight on the thighs and too loose on the waist or just plain wrong...(B.I.Y!!)

9. Nail Rings - I only JUST fell in love with this after watching my new Youtube BLEURGHsession (Nice Round Brown) go on about stars rockin' this, and since then, I've been hunting these goons like a mutherrrr

10. Ankara Wedges - I know everyone and their grandma went ON about the ALDO court-like wedges like a lightyear ago, but I really was NOT feeling them....until I see these tatas!! Like...come ON! Freakin' angelic beasts! J'adore!!

Some Sundays = BLEURGHday

Ok so the idea of a 'Sunday Shares' blew up in smoke cos I was never born to stick to routine... spontaneity is my middle name (not literally ofcourse). Anyway, I've decided to make this post an any Sunday kinda thing...when I can, is the point I'm tryna make. LOL

Soundtrack of the Minute - White Lies : Chipmunk ft Kalenna (Dirty Money)

• Loving all the love I received about the haircut! I have to say, I was super nervous for a WHILE, but now I'm used to it and I really like it now. Gonna take the advice some of you guys gave and will be adding tracks in soon *grins like a goon*

• My Youtube is growing and I have SO many plans in store. Most importantly, gonna be launching the first items for the eBLEURGHBay (BLEURGH Shop on eBay) on Tuesday at 2pm....so make sure you all take your place and place your bids! REALLY excited as I made the final edits of the lookbook yesterday and have rounded up all the items to sell...you guys will obviously be getting the 1st preview and 1st dibs as loyal followers! I really want my babies to be adopted to loving and great homes :)

• Also, seems The Toni Cut has been really popular, and Youtube offered to make it a partner video. Sadly, cos I had an unauthorised soundtrack (yes, I'm bootleg like that LOL), it didn't make the cut. 

• Actually been having a bad week as on deadline day, I credited my printing account with a whole £20 note, which I learnt the hard way, was non-refundable. So now...with less than a month left in Uni, I have to either trade that shiz or I dunno...print just about ANYTHING I can on this earth! *sigh* Also, the day I was running around tryna sort out some Uni-ish...I did a TON of work in the lib (for my Twitter followers, what I constantly refer to as 'Johnnie' aka John Rylands Library). Thinking I saved it all on my USB, I traipsed home early, wasted the night as I was ahead of plan....oh no! The next morning, I discover that not only is it NOT on the USB, but it wasn't saved on Johnnie's system either!!! BLEURGH!

• Brought back 'Soundtrack of the Minute' cos for a while, I'd been MIA on the music front. But its revision season and I need hott beats in my ear! What can I say, I'm a sucker for a good beat (pun UNintended...get your minds out of the gutter! LOL). I am currently BLEURGHsessed with the track above. Thought to make it easier for you guys & instead of linking to youtube, I placed the bar above....so, by all means, rape that bar!!

Belle of the Ball

BLEURGH! Life was on hold for like 3days as I stupidly left the notes I needed for one piece of coursework in Manchester over Easter break and cos I went to Wales, I decided to leave that until I got back. A 30% piece of work in 3 days didn't seem so daunting at first...I've done worse. But little did I know that each article (trust me, I had a LOT of 'em to read and sift out the useless ones too) would be like HELLA longwinded!! I then had to write....writer's block is a bitch! Thankfully, reality slapped the block right out of my brain and I was able to get it done and hand it in so thank God that's out of the way....

But before all of that hoo-ha above, was my Law Ball on Saturday! I knew I wouldn't have time to go shopping for a dress between being in Wales and the jam-packed few days I spent in London so I was smart enough to remember a gown I bought 3years ago, on holiday in New York. The shoppaholic in me envisaged an event like this coming up in the future and I hadn't even popped the tag! Got it at a bargain of a mere $25!! Looks like I'm floating abouve right? Could NOT be fussed to wear heels after the long day I'd had so I was actually wearing peeptoe pumps...lol I know!! Thankfully, I'm quite tall anyway so....

I actually lost my tennis bracelet on the night...sadly! But I was all diplomatic about it, quizzed the Janitor (who'd left it on the counter....dumb ass) who quarried the barmaid (who'd hidden it at the back/ kitchen bit....probs in her bag) and thankfully, I got it back!! 

I didn't want my face to be matchy-matchy but I DID like the idea of having some pink incorporated to the look. Used white eyeshadow for the tearducts for the first time....all this shibazz I'm in about is really just the effect of watching TOO many youtube makeup gurus. LOL

Food was...hmm! No Comment!

Theme of the evening was 'Circus' so there were a bunch of circus freaks there on stilts and there was a street performance (which I missed, cos being black...I was 'fashionably' late) of a fire-breather. It was held at Manchester Town Hall and the party proceeded to the Manchester 235 Casino where a private room was rented and guests were entitled free drinks...twas a good night :)

BLEURGHair - The Toni Cut

Hola booskis! This post is a tad delayed...as usual! But as I mentioned before, I had been natural for 2 years and after weave in-weave out, I decided to give my hair a break for a WHILE! I've wanted to go short for over a year now and ever since I tried a short crop weave, all my friends can say when I switch up my locks is..."you really should cut your hair, short hair REALLY suits you". So after much hesitation & fear, I decided to bite the bullet and cut my hair.

Now, I really didn't want to walk into the salon with a "Rihanna cut" in mind as I didn't wanna walk out feeling discontent....or with fire red dye on my scalp (trust me...i've seen a few victims of that disaster). So I hit up google and searched Black iconic crops from Nia Long to Regina King. The options were endless...and after thining 'em down to Keisha Cole, and google mistakenly propping up an image of Toni Braxton instead, it was a done-deal. I was in love!

In love with Toni's wispy side-sweep...ideal for Spring/ Summer!! I showed my hairdresser the look and she was pleased with my choice. Gollie! I love that woman but she is a demon with a pair of scissors! She was like the black Edward Scissorhands....SHEESH! But here's the finished cut...
