Well, that just shows how long I've been away...I know you've missed me (Well, I sure as hell hope so...*pleads*).

GOOD to have YaYa back, dontcha think?....makes a change from me huh?...so? How can i tackle each day? By numbers ofcourse! In a MonaLisaSmile (MUST SEE!)-Paint by Numbers sorta way.

1. I went on a work fieldtrip to Brighton, which ended up being a shopping trip (expenses paid...the perks of working for my father lol) and twas sooo TIRING I had to nap on the train journey back. Sadly I had a neck cramp which couldn't be massaged out...mersuis needed!

Also watched Volver (Spanish movie starring Penelope Cruz) and I GOTTA recommend it...its funny, memorable and shockingly interesting considering I don't usually watch subtitled movies 'cos it makes me feel like I'm at school :(

2. Had a lunch date, Friday with a VERY interesting lassie (TRANSLATION: girl), **Wannie. She's new to the area so I accompanied her as a sorta tour guide. Trust me...easier said than done. You don't realise how much stuff you've just overlooked / failed to notice until you're put in this position.

3. Up, down, nap, wake...yup! You guessed it...ERRANDS!! My sis came down for the weekend and I use just about EVERY opp to cling to that heffer!! So I tailed her just about everywhere...our own lil'adventure...PHEW! We visited the tailor for an update on her dress & we almost cried at the sight...GORGE (TRANSLATION: Gorgeous!)

4. Sunday = CHURCHday...My sis left today *tears up*

The sermon today was a continuation of the "love" series but with a sole focus on it's "delight in truth". TRUTH guys...I dunno about you but I know I lie like a DOGG! Whether its a joke, white lie or tall tales...whaddev...a lie's a lie. Join me in my bid to cut that ish down? I'm gonna need support to eradicate it effectively tbh lol

**BLEURGH** Hiatus...sorry

WOW!! What a hiatus I took, all in the name of love. I took a stand, but turns out our dear YaYa had a near-"Swineflu" scare so her excuse stands...but mine? Well, twas a crime of passion lol.

FRIDAY (Aura infested Nightout)

Me and my friends (and her American cousins) went out to Aura (Mayfair). Turned up SO early the club wasn't even open! SHAME ON OUR LIVES!! So as we were walking out, saw the bouncer to whom we asked when it opened, he replied "erm, not sure, like 11ish". We were SOOO ashamed! If even HE didnt know when it opened then what the HELL were we doing there? lol Turns out he was just fooling us :(

So we went to this fab Italian Eatery to catch our "buzz" (TRANSLATION: The Americans said it described the tipsy feeling), only for *Hansonex to BBM (TRANSLATION: Blackberry Message) me saying we were gonna have to pay if we missed the queue!! Got there JUST in time for me to discover I had left my ID at home....MIRACLES! The lady just pushed us in & declared to the rest of the queue that WE were the last entry!! woo

Fab sermon on love which truly moved me & then as a youth member of my church, I helped out in our Annual Picnic. Twas SOOO much fun messing around with the kids (NO Paedo!) and BEING a kid again really...fun times!!

BLEURGH's Couple Alert!! Tamera and Malik from "The Game"are DATING!!! Maybe her twin, Tia, played Cupid & hooked them up...me likey!

And other goodnews connected....The Game might be picked up by BET!! My friend **ReRe almost teared up when she found out the CW cancelled it (but yet kept bloody "One Tree Hill" and "Smallville"??..no comment)...so, no need to fear guys, it should hopefully make its return to our TV screens (or Megavideo streams) soonish!

A Year on...

Today was a VERY special day for me as I celebrated a year of progress, growth and maturity in a private aspect of my life (HEY! Be patient...we only just became friends so it's a bit soon to be sharing like THAT lol) but I thought I'd share another Anniversary I was also celebrating today...

I made my 60th Video Blog/Diary!! WOOO!!! I have been talking to my YouCam (or to be more precise, myself lol) since 12th September '08 and today was my 60th entry....yay me!

Anyhoo...as the adults in my household were unaware of ANY of my personal celebrations and festivities, they felt NO need to give me preferential treatment today so I was titled "errand chic"! Go here, go there, do this...you catch my drift.

SIbling LOVERY Vs Sibling RIVALRY

In relation to the heading....the former TRUMPS the latter by FAR! And the reason for this?....I MISS MY LIL (ok BIG...BIG!!! Don't beat me! lol) BUBBAs (TRANSLATION = un-corny means of saying "babies")!! My siblings came down for the weekend and when you're the last like I am, the house gets lonely with just the 'rents (TRANSLATION = Parents) and moi...so anytime they come round?...HEAVEN! We literally take over the house! The empty walls are filled with echoes of laughter and the creeky floorboards are feaful of our enthusiastic stampedes...ooh wee! COME BACK!!

Anyways, hope you haven't missed me TOO much. Had a fun-filled weekend! On Saturday, my sister went for her dressfitting at this Nigerian tailor (who im REALLY excited about, her sketches were the ISH and she literally whooped something up in 3mins and me and my sister's eyes went SO wide in amazement, i thought they were gonna pop! If you're Nigerian and have experienced the disappointment of several tailors not matching the sketch to the final copy? You will understand) and then on for a spot of shopping in the West End.

HEY GUYS!!! I was TRES excited today cos twas a Wammie (Women Against Men...only a joke though. We made it up in High School) Day out and well I haven't really seen my heffers (TRANSLTION:a term of endearment lol) all Summer due to holidays or just plain laziness, so a good catch-up was in order.

I was also KILLER excited 'cos every year **Bee brings back an Evil Eye bracelet and this year I had made a special request due to my obsession with everything Lauren Conrad (All "The Hills" fans will relate)...and after purchasing friendship bracelets from Aldo which faded to a near-pink...I was determined to get the real deal. Isn't it CUTE??? *Gushes*

And I found this really laid back top which i shall OBVO (TRANSLATION:Obviously) be wearing as a dress...and then the "mini-me" situation with the matching military jackets. Don't you just adore them?? *Gushes yet AGAIN! (Get a room!)*

So today was a rather chilled day in my books. The funny thing is I'm forever tired when I'm at work, but as soon as I'm done...the energy returns...BLEURGH!

Anyways...so today I was reading back on YaYa's last blog - she's currently doing some ISH so will be MIA until later tonight :( - and thought back to what I did as a kid. I grew up in Naij (Translation: Nigeria) and I had the tomboy edge but with the girly bits lol...I played basketball with my brothers, hated dresses and still have a fear of earrings (even with my secret 2nd hole...shh!)

Then it hit me...ARCHIE's COMICS!! I LOVED them...GOSH they were the ISH!

Only for me to google it (GOOGLE's my bestfriend...food, places, dissing...ANYTHING) and find that in the finale copy, Archie proposed to Veronica NOT Betty!!

So I was indulging in my other guilty pleasure (why I'm putting my-own damn-self on blast like this I will never know) and was watching some good old children's television (Hannah Montana Season 3 to be exact) and I noticed the same message there...she chose Jake over the mediocre guitarist. Hmm

Thinking back...I actually think Veronica was my 1st REAL fashion inspiration. She wore colours (which i LOVE) with risky high fashion pieces, I mean...my chica DOES this dude!

I looked out of my window today & I was SHOCKED at the sight...Summer's gone on a holiday of it's own! So i searched my wardrobe (like I do daily) for what to wear, but was hit by the fact that I now own only ONE pair of trousers (excluding numerous leggings and office trousers). CRADIZLLE! So I did what anyone in my position would do....succumb to my favourite guilty pleasure and shop online for new trousers. A new style infact, as due to my summer-weightgain, I may have to give bootleg a miss for now. *blushes*

So...PEGLEG!! It hit just about EVERY highstreet store in fullforce last winter but I never bought into it....but with the bidding adieu to swishy skirts and floral dresses? I have NO CHOICE:(

We didn't meet until 2nd Semester (even though we BOTH study Law at University of Manchester) due to SOMEONE's lack of lecture attendance (I point NO fingers) and immediately we met, t'was a match made in heaven (corny?). She's the YING to my YANG, the ANT to my DEC...Back to reality!
